Project: The proposed project entails the construction of ±250km, 400kV powerline from the existing Borutho Main Transmission Substation to the existing Nzhelele Main Transmission Substation.
Location: The proposed powerline spans across several farms in the following six local municipalities: Mogalakwena, Polokwane, Molemole, Blouberg, Makhado, and Musina, under the jurisdiction of three district municipalities: Waterberg, Capricorn, and Vhembe, in Limpopo Province. Borutho MTS is approximately 30km north-west of Mokopane within the Mogalakwena Local Municipality, while Nzhelele MTS is approximately 37km south-west of Musina within the Musina Local Municipality. The proposed powerline transects a railway line, the national highway (N1), regional roads (R521, R523, and R567), as well as local access roads. Several villages, such as Jupiter, Venus, Sefahlane, Ga-Magongoa, Danplaats, Ga-Madikana, Ga-Phago, Maribana, Vivo, Alldays, Sekuruwe, and Kalkbank, are in close proximity to the proposed powerline.

Location: The project area for the proposed Tubatse Strengthening Project Phase 1, spans across several farms of two local municipalities, Fetakgomo-Tubatse and Elias Motsoaledi under the jurisdiction of the Sekhukhune District of Limpopo Province. It is located approximately 25km south-west of Burgersfort.
